My Question or Issue

Hello! I have some playlists I’d like to put in a folder, but I’m unable to. I know you can’t do it in the app, but i can’t do it in the web player either. Anytime I try to open my library it asks me to get the app, but I already have it, and I cant get stop that pop up from happening. My library also won’t show up on the side. Instead it just shows what song I’m listening to across the bottom and I don’t know how to change that. Is there a way to fix this?

Hi there @Kiwi_Bird7143,

Thanks for reaching out.

You've listed your device as an iPhone 12, so are you trying to open the webplayer on there? If so, be advised that on one hand, the mobile webplayer is subject to many of the same restrictions as the mobile app. Also, the mobile webplayer exists as an option but isn't the recommended way to use Spotify on your phone.

Regarding playlist folders, while these can be opened and used on any device, they can be created and managed only on the desktop app or desktop webplayer for now. We're always working to improve this and we appreciate your feedback on the matter.

Hope this clears things up.

Ok, thank you. A few months ago I was able to create playlist folders on my phone, so I was wondering if that feature got removed or something
