Paw-some to see you micbs_!
I apologize for the inconvenience you're experiencing with the podcast chronology feature on Spotify. I can provide some general troubleshooting steps that might help:
Update your Spotify app: Ensure that you have the latest version of the Spotify app installed on your device. Sometimes, outdated app versions can cause issues with certain features. Check your app store for any available updates and install them if necessary.
Clear cache and data: If you're using the Spotify app on a mobile device, try clearing the cache and data. Go to the settings of your device, find the app settings for Spotify, and clear the cache and data. Keep in mind that this will log you out of the app, so make sure you have your login credentials handy.
Log out and log back in: Logging out of your Spotify account and then logging back in can sometimes help resolve syncing issues and refresh the app's data. Try logging out from the app settings and then logging back in to see if it fixes the problem.
I hope these suggestions help you resolve the issue with the podcast chronology feature. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask!

Hello! Thank you for welcoming me so kindly. And thank you for your help!!
I tried all of your advices, but nothing, sadly, worked.
Hey @micbs_,
Thanks for getting back to us.
As a next step, can you please send us a screenshot of how things look on your end? Also, try unfollowing and then following some podcasts and check again if they appear in your listening history after you've played them.
Keep us posted.
Hi, I tried to unfollow and then follow, but it doesn't work. This is how things appear. It's in Italian, but it says that I haven't played anything. Thank you all for your help.
Hey @micbs_,
Thanks for your reply and for the info shared.
In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected device along with the Spotify version you're running there?
On another note, are you able to see your recent activity from a different mobile device? It'd be awesome if you could check. You can ask for the mobile device of a relative or a friend to open your account and check.
Lastly, did you notice if this started to happen after a specific event such as an OS update? If yes, please send us the details.
Keep us in the loop!
These are the infos you asked me about the model of the device and the app. The OS is 9.1.0
Unfortunately, I cannot try with another mobile device, but instead I tried playing music (and not podcasts) and the chronology works with music!
Thank you all for your help!
Hey @micbs_,
Thanks for the reply.
Does this happen with a different account or only on the current one? Does it happen on a different mobile device?
Keep us posted,
Cheers!
Hello! I didn't try to log into the problematic account with another mobile device, but I did try with the same device and with a new account and the chronology worked there! So I think it's a problem with that specific account.
Hey @micbs_,
Thanks for your reply.
We've forwarded this to the relevant team here at Spotify, however, we can't confirm when it will be addressed. In the meantime, please make sure to keep your app up-to-date.
Cheers,
Thank you all!
