Daily mix stuck on shuffle

My Question or Issue

On my phone when I play a daily mix, it is stuck on shuffle and I cant get it off. I don’t have a shuffle button to turn it off. It is the same with all of the other playlists that are supposed to be able to be played not on shuffle.

Hey @user-removed,

 

Would you mind sending us a screenshot of one of your Daily Mixes, so that we can check on our end :?
You may edit out / cover any info you'd like to not be shared with the public 🙂
In the meantime, we'd also like to know if forcing a system sync would help out in this situation.
In order to trigger that, log out of the app and then back in twice in a row.

I tried logging out and back in twice in a row and it doesn’t seem to have worked. This is a picture of one of my daily mixes:

Judging by the screenshot everything looks good on your end, so the tracks should be playing in the order they appear when you open the playlist. If that's not the case for you, please send over a screen recording which shows the app's behavior in action. That way we can get a clear understanding of what's happening on your end.

 

If possible, try logging in to another mobile device (a friend's or a relative's would also do) to see if you'd experience the same issue there.

So this website won’t allow me to upload a screen recording. But basically what’s happening is some of my daily mixes will just play in a random shuffle order, instead of the order it displays. Also, some of my daily mixes will play the same song over and over between other songs(song 1, song 2, song 1, song 3, song 1, song 4).

Thanks for keeping us posted!

This can happen if you listen in Shuffle on desktop with the mobile app connected.
Log into your desktop app / the Web Player and try disabling Shuffle from there!
This should fix things for you 🙂
