Deleting a song imported from cell to Spotify

Deleting a song imported from cell to Spotify

While sitting notification sounds up for another app, I opened the sound up in Spotify. Now the songs are in a 'Local Files' folder. How do I delete the 5 notifications in the folder. They are the only 'songs' in the local files folder. I really don't want to be listening to music and have a siren notification come across. Thanks

Hey @tannid64,

Thanks for posting this thread!

Local files are audio files legally stored on your device and if you'd like you can delete them (if this option is available for you) from where they're stored on your device.

It's worth mentioning, however, that when it comes to Spotify, you can select to hide the local files from the app by going to Settings > Local Files > toggle off Show audio files from this device. This way you'd hide them from Spotify so that they won't appear and play.

Hope this helps and let us know if you've got any other questions 🙂
