For the last several weeks my Discover Weekly has been updating more than once a week. This week it's updated Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Is anyone else seeing this? Any idea how to stop it?

We understand you've noticed more frequent updates of your personalized playlists. Such behavior of the algorithm is more or less expected in situations when you're actively exploring the app and listening to new music. More frequent updates can happen when the algorithm finds more appropriate recommendations for you based on your recent listening activity, as it strives to provide the most accurate recommendations based on your music taste. For example, this could happen if you listen something that is quite different than your usual taste profile as well. This behavior should normalize on its own, once the Spotify app gets to know your musical taste better.

Is that something you can deactivate? It's definitely not how I would expect it to work. Several times already it removed a song I liked before I had a chance to save it.

This is not something that can be switched off from the app settings.
Spotify constantly strives to improve the user experience with its features and the easiest way to achieve this is by regular app updates. That’s why we appreciate you taking the time to share your suggestions with the Community.

I've noticed that my Discover Weekly has updated during the week recently as well.
@Alex So you're saying that we should expect that our Discover Weekly, which has updated once a week for years, can update multiple times per week from now on?
For anyone experiencing the same issue, I've started an idea thread in the hope of resolving this issue. 👍

Update happened at 23h00 of Sunday instead of 00h00 of Monday.
Lost this week's playlist because I usually only get time to listen to it in peace at the end of the week.
