Downloaded Podcasts and "no internet"

Downloaded Podcasts and "no internet"

For some reason, Spotify can't always find my downloaded podcasts when I don't have connection. This doesn't make sense, isn't this the reason I downloaded them to begin with? Is there a solution here?

Hey @Inudesu,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. We hope you don't mind us moving your post out of the Chats section to one of our Help boards as it fits better here.

When your app has no internet connection, it should keep showing the downloaded content. In this case, since the downloads are stored in the device's cache, we'd first recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it’s more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might cause trouble.

If the issue persists, check if your account has an SD card inserted. If so, we'd recommend removing it, restarting your device and trying again.

If that doesn't work, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

We'll be on the lookout.

Thanks for the reply. My concern with a clean reinstall is that my library view would go from the one pictured above (version 8.6.4.971) to something like the one below (which is obviously to be avoided as long as possible). It just doesn't make sense to me that I'd get a spinning wheel and "no internet" error when I'm trying to look at content I've downloaded specifically to have available when there is no internet. If it's just a cache issue and the fix is to update, I'll power through for now I think with this as the lesser of two evils (compared to the current library view and home page features I'd prefer to avoid). My downloaded playlists seem to work ok even without internet connection.

Thanks again for the response.
