Duo Mix

Solved!

Duo Mix

Have just set up Premium Duo with my partner. I want to know, if we start Duo Mix, is that an extra playlist, or will it replace something on our individual accounts, lilke 'Discover Weekly', or 'Release Radar'.

The info about Duo Mix on the Spotify site doesn't tell me this.

Hi @peterfitz2,

Thanks for posting in the Spotify Community!

No worries, the Made for you playlists that Spotify generates for each user (such as Discover Weekly and Release Radar) are not exclusive to specific subscription plans; while Duo Mix is an additional playlist that comes with the Premium Duo plan. So, you and your partner will not lose any Made for you playlists upon joining Duo Mix.

If you’ve joined Spotify recently, it can take a few weeks of listening for Spotify to get an idea of your music taste before you get Made for you playlists. Similarly, if you're new to Spotify and have joined Duo Mix, you'll find your songs there after around 2 weeks of listening.

Let me know if you have any other questions, and have a good day!
