Hi guys, I don't know if this is intentional, but I find very annoying this:
- I like a song.
- Some time after (maybe weeks, maybe more, maybe less since I don't know the reason) I go to the song's album, and it is not marked as liked.
- However, in my library it is liked and saved, and even going to the "same" album through clicking in my saved song shows it as liked.
It is like there were albums duplicates or something similar. And it is really annoying because sometimes my friends like the same song, but going through their playlists don't show me the song liked, so I am not able to identify my already liked songs.

Hey @thmasker,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community.
The behavior you're describing can happen when an album gets reuploaded by the distributors. If they have different metadata or URIs, the app will check backstage to link to the accurate track, but it will currently miss to transfer the liked status to the newer version.
We've provided guidelines to distributors of what they can do to keep tracks fully in sync and basically overwrite old versions, but we know this is something that occurs. For now we suggest that you unlike the "old" track in the liked songs or saved album and replace it with the new one.
We'll keep working on improving this experience moving forward and advise that you keep the app up to date with the latest version so that you don't miss out on any fixes.
Hope this is helpful but don't hesitate to let us know if you have any further questions!

Hi,
is this issue still ongoing? It seems like I have the same issue in my library. This is extremely annoying and impossible for me to fix manually by re-adding songs as my library contains thousands of these issues.
Is there any other solution to this issue by now?
Thanks
Hey @derkleinekobold,
Thanks for posting in the Community and welcome to this thread.
We appreciate the time you took to let us know about the duplicate albums in your library. We'd like to add some insights about this behavior.
As mentioned previously in this thread, it's important to bear in mind that artists will sometimes decide to re-upload an album. However, because the new album has a different URI, saving it again will mean that you will end up with the same album saved in your library.
In such cases, we'd suggest sorting your library alphabetically, so you can easily visualize the ones that are duplicates. Even though this is possible to do on both mobile and desktop apps, we'd suggest doing it from the last one to have a better look at your library. Open your Desktop app, and select Expand your library on the left-side bar:
From there, select the Albums tag at the top to filter just albums:
Then, choose Alphabetical as a sorting option, so you can see the albums with the same name in your library:
You can also choose to see your library in Compact mode, so you have better visibility of the whole list.
We understand this is not ideal, and we apologize for any issues this might cause on your side. If you'd like to make a suggestion on how this could be improved, you can do so by submitting an idea via the Idea Exchange. We've located a similar suggestion that might interest you:
Remember, when posting suggestions, it's important to follow our Idea Exchange Guidelines.
Hope this clears things up. If you have any questions or need anything else, the Community is here for you.
Hey there @derkleinekobold,
Thanks for getting back to us.
We understand where you're coming from and we appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We'll make sure to pass it onto the right team, as we always strive to improve your experience, but we can't confirm when or if this will be fixed. That being said, we'd recommend keeping the app and the device's OS up to date so you don't miss out on any possible fixes or improvements.
