My Question or Issue

I would like to duplicate another user's playlist, but the new playlist will be editable by me, unlike if I open he's shared library and I can't edit it.

How can I do that?

Thanks.

Hey there @ItayH,

Thanks for posting about this here in the Community!

No worries, you can copy the content of a playlist and add tracks to it to make it your own!

To do that, you can follow the steps below:

  1. Open the playlist you'd like to copy
  2. Select all tracks contained in the playlist - you can do this using ctrl (on Windows) or cmd (on Mac) + a
  3. Right click on the selected tracks
  4. Select Add to Playlist > New Playlist
  5. Name this new playlist as you'd like and customize it further by adding your own tracks

Bear in mind though, that it's best to do this process from the desktop app. You can also do this from the mobile app, however, you'll need to individually add each track to your new playlist since it's not possible to select multiple tracks at this time.

Let us know how you get on! We'll be right here if you need more help.

Have a lovely day 🙂

I tried to do that but it only copies 100-150 songs each time.. even with ctrl+a on Windows PC app.
