My Question or Issue

When I open spotify on my computer, it instantly adds like two dozen songs to one of my playlists. The "Date Added" for all these songs will say something like "2 minutes ago," so I know they're being added automatically when I launch the app. This does not happen every single time I open spotify, usually only the first time I open it that day.

Previously, I had "Enhance" turned on, but this only started after "Enhance" was turned off. Many of the songs it adds are ones previously recommended by "Enhance". These songs also don't have the little sparkle emoji or the add/delete buttons that the Enhance songs did. They're a real part of the playlist.

My best guess is that this is some sort of glitch with Enhance, where it's still trying to add songs, even when it's turned off.

Anyone else have this happen or have any potential solutions or explanations? Having to delete two dozen unwanted songs everyday is getting annoying fast.

Unsuccessful Solutions from Other Sources

  • Turn off autoplay (autoplay is off)
  • Turn off enhanced (enhanced is off)
  • Add at least fifteen songs to the playlist (the playlist includes 54 songs)
  • Subscribe to premium (I am on a family plan)
  • Turn off collaborative playlists (there are no collaborators on this playlist, and there's also no way a human is adding so many songs so fast)

Edit: I added screenshots showing how all these songs were added at the same time, right after spotify was opened, and that enhance is turned off
