How to ignore a playlist from contributing to your music preferences?

Solved!

How to ignore a playlist from contributing to your music preferences?

I have a particular playlist that I listen to when I'm at the gym and working out, but I absolutely hate listening to this music at other times (since it's repetitive and pumpy).

However, I've been going to the gym way more frequently lately, and now this kind of music is weaving its way through ALL recommendations that Spotify is giving me (Daily Mix, Discover Weekly, etc.), and its making Spotify absolutely unusable for me.

How do I tell Spotify to completely ignore any music from a playlist from playing a role in contributing to my musical preferences? This would also be really helpful for when I'm playing music for my kids (e.g. Raffi).

Is there some way to switch between 'moods' that would isolate musical preferences to certain moods or activities? And then I could switch into that mood and only have recommendations that are associated with likes/dislikes for that mood?
