Impossible to sort some pre-made playlists

My Question or Issue

Hello!

I can't sort the New Music Friday playlist any other way than how it's presented to me on android.

I can change the sorting of some other pre-made spotify playlist like Chill Beats or Women Of Pop. But New Music Friday and Chill Hits, for example, don't let me change the order.

Is it a bug or a feature?

I logged out and back in, then ran a clean reinstall of the app, following every step religiously, twice and nothing has changed.

Is there anything else I can do?

Thanks for the quick reply.

We tried reproducing this on our end, however New Music Friday appears to have the sorting option.

This might be an account related issue, so can you ask a friend/family member to log in with their account on your device and check whether they're also not seeing the sorting option.

In the meantime could you send us the URI/Link to the New Music Friday playlist you're following so we can investigate this further.

Thanks for getting back to us and for the playlist link.

We checked this backstage and the New Music Friday you follow is specially curated by DJs and the songs transition from one to the other are mixed to provide a seamless flow. They're meant to be played in order so sorting and shuffling is disabled.

There are several other playlists like this, so if you don't see the option to sort a Spotify playlist - it's been specially curated in that order.
