Just want one playlist.

Just want one playlist.

I just want one playlist on my account, but it keeps bringing back others every now and then. Even after I delete them.

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

This is not ideal behaviour, can you confirm that when you delete playlists, they appear again on all platforms? Please check on your Mobile as well as your Web and Desktop if possible.

If it does, then let me know the App version and Device info in the next reply. Keep the Spotify App updated and change your password to ensure no one else has access to your account. If someone else has your password, they can restore the deleted playlists easily.

Keep us posted!

Hi,

Thanks for the reply, sorry I haven't got back in a timely matter, I thought I would've received a email when there was a reply.

Well I attached 2 screen shots from my Android phone and Computer.

I circled the playlists I've deleted in the past and they keep showing up. I don't have a option to delete them now, only the one I want to keep. (Micky21)

Android Spotify ver - 8.8.12.545

Computer - Windows 11 home - 22H2

Thanks,

Micky

P.S. I have changed my passwords numerous times.

Hey, thanks for the response.

These are the items that Spotify thinks you will like to listen to. This is based on your listening habits/history. And hence it is showing you playlists that are deleted. Worry not, this is not a bug. Once your listening pattern changes, Spotify will update your recommendations as well.

This way, the deleted playlists would automatically be removed from your home section. From personal experience I can assure you that this is expected behaviour, Spotify constantly updates your recommendations.

About the other question, there is no way to edit the number of playlists you can see on the top. But you can remove the whole cards catalogue (good morning, good evening cards). If you have a better idea, feel free to post it in the Ideas section if one does not exist already.

Let me know if you need anything else.
