My Question or Issue
I often have an issue when I add an album to my iPad and switch over to my iPhone, I don’t see the album in my library. The reverse also happens, I add the album on my iPhone and don’t see it on the iPad. I can usually resolve this by force quitting the app and opening it again, then the library seems to refresh and I see the album. But is there a way to force the refresh without force quitting the app?

Hey @mahlerfan,
Thanks for posting in the Community!
Would you mind performing a complete clean reinstall of the app on both devices?
This should fix any general inconsistencies with the apps.
The album sync should be automatic after that.
Keep an eye out and let us know if the issue persists afterwards 🙂
We'll be on the lookout for your response.
Cheers!

I did the clean install and tested adding and removing albums from my library and it looks to be in sycn now. Thanks!
Re install Spotify on all devices? Lame
Wouldn't this action make my devices lose all songs? I have saved about 2,400 songs saved on both devices.
Hi, @sean_m08,
Performing a clean reinstall won't affect Your Library (i.e. your saved Liked Songs, playlists, podcasts, etc.), so you'll still have those after reinstalling the app. If you had content downloaded for offline listening, you'll just have to re-download it.
Hope this clears things up. Cheers 🤘
Yes I meant downloading the songs in the library, and they took a long time to download last time. However, the problem was solved after just playing music on the synced device then back to my unsynced one.
