Liked Songs Playlist out of order

Solved!

Liked Songs Playlist out of order

This has been an issue for at least 3 months now. The order of my Liked Songs playlist on Mobile does not match how it's organized on PC. I've tried signing out on both devices and they do not resync. I tried removing every song from my playlist and adding it again back in December, and it only jumbled up the playlist further. For the most part, I add songs to my liked songs playlist on PC, and removing songs from my playlist is far more difficult on mobile.

Hey, welcome to the Spotify Community!

1️⃣ Check if the display is sorted correctly

On Spotify, the playlist of liked songs can be sorted in different ways.
Solution: On PC and mobile, check if both are sorted by the same criteria:
On PC: Go to Liked Songs > Click the sort arrow (recent, title, artist, etc.).
On mobile: Go to Liked Songs > Tap Filter & Sort (three lines at the top) and choose "Recently Added" to sort like on PC.

2️⃣ Force sync

It may be that Spotify has not updated the changes between devices.
Solution:
On PC and mobile, log out of your account (Settings > Sign Out), wait a few minutes and log back in.

Try playing some songs on your PC and see if your phone updates automatically.

3️⃣ Clear Spotify cache

Old files stored on Spotify can cause sync issues.

Solution:
On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Spotify > Storage and tap Clear Cache.

On iPhone: The only way to clear the cache is to reinstall the app.

On PC: Go to Settings > Storage and clear the cache.

4️⃣ Check if everything is up to date

Solution: Check the Play Store/App Store to see if Spotify is on the latest version.

5️⃣ Try creating a new playlist manually

If the list of liked songs is disorganized, it may be an internal Spotify issue.

Solution:
Create a new playlist called "Liked Songs 2.0".

On PC, select all liked songs (CTRL + A) and add them to the new playlist.

On mobile, see if this new playlist appears correctly sorted.

6️⃣ Reinstall Spotify

If nothing works, you may need to remove and reinstall the app on your PC and phone.

Keep me updated
