Songs keep getting taken out of my playlist

Songs keep getting taken out of my playlist

Today for example I added a song to my playlist. I have a copy playlist from years back that gets every single song put into out of habit as I used to accidentally undownload all my music and not be able to listen to it on the way to school. Anyway all my music still goes in there. Today I added a song, drove to meet some friends and listened to it on the way there went to a supermarket and then on my way home rewound my playlist and it was gone. The app was never open my phone wasn't even unlocked much since it was added and my phone automatically connects to the car. This has happened a number of times in the past month and is only taken out of my main playlist not my duplicate one.

Hey! Welcome to the Spotify Community!

1️⃣ Syncing fails between devices

If you use Spotify on more than one device, there may be a sync conflict, where an old version of the playlist replaces the new one.
Solution: Try logging out and logging back into Spotify on all devices where your account is connected.

2️⃣ App cache bug

Spotify may be saving old versions of your playlist and restoring them automatically.
Solution:
On Android: Go to Settings > Apps > Spotify > Storage and clear the cache.
On iPhone: The only way to clear the cache is to reinstall the app.

3️⃣ Offline mode may be interfering

If you use Spotify offline, syncing may be affected.
Solution: Connect to the internet, open the app and wait a few minutes to ensure your playlists are synced correctly.

4️⃣ Your account may be logged in somewhere else

If someone else has access to your account (or if it has been hacked), changes may be happening without you noticing.

Solution:
Go to your Spotify Account Page and go to "Manage Devices" to see if anything strange is happening.

Change your password for security reasons.

5️⃣ Specific error in the main playlist

There may be a problem with your main playlist causing this behavior.

Solution:
Try creating a new playlist and adding songs manually to see if the problem persists.

6️⃣ Recent Spotify bug

Some Spotify updates can cause unexpected issues.

Solution:
Check for available updates in the app store and install the latest version.
