Liked Songs not appearing in "Liked Songs" Playlist

Liked Songs not appearing in "Liked Songs" Playlist

I have been having the issue that some songs which I have liked cannot be found in the "Liked Songs" playlist. This does not happen with most songs and it's usually by chance that I notice that a song which I have liked cannot be found in the "liked songs" playlist even though when I search the song via the general search it is marked as liked! Please help! This is happening across all devices.

Hi @gloria5425,

Thanks for reaching out. If you are using the checkmark as an indicator if the song is liked, be advised that this updated checkmark is not only for Liked Songs but for playlists in general. It's possible some of these songs that don't appear in search aren't actually in the Liked Songs but are in one of your other playlists, hence why they have the indicator.

Hope this clears things up.

Oh, thats really unfortunate. Is there a way to see what playlist a song with this indicator is part of? I cannot find it anywhere or do I need to dig manually through every single playlist?

Also the "part of playlist" indicator does not seem to be working consistently... I have now found a few songs that are part of a playlist but do not have this indicator when I search for them via general search...

Hi @gloria5425,

Thanks for the reply. If a song has the checkmark next to it, clicking that checkmark will bring up a list of all your playlists and the Liked Songs and show you where the song is present. From their, you can add or remove the song from any and all of them, which is the primary functionality of this new feature, it allows you to manage your playlists from one spot. You can find the full info on how it works here.

Other than that, regarding the indicator not appearing, it depends on where you're looking as it's not present everywhere a song can be seen. If you believe it's not working as expected for you, please clarify using some screenshots where exactly you mean so we can double check.

Hope this clears things up.
