Liked recommendations not added to "Liked Songs"

Liked recommendations not added to "Liked Songs"

Hello!

Using the iPhone app on iPhone 13 most recent iOS, when I Heart a recommended song, it does not get added to my  Liked Songs. Where does it go?

Hey @togethernessnyc,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

This type of issue is usually caused by damaged cache stored on your device from previous versions, or if the offline mode is toggled on. If your device is set offline, the information will not sync with your account and this could cause the issue.

However, if the offline mode is not on, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

In case the issue persists, include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running.

We'll be on the lookout.

Thanks for the feedback! I did these steps:

1. Clean reinstall
2. Online mode was off, I toggled it on.

The issue appears to still be present. I tried to "like" another
recommended song and it did not appear in my Library under Liked Songs.

Hi @togethernessnyc!

Could you shed a bit more light on how the songs were recommended to you? Were they from a Spotify Radio or an enhanced playlist, for example? In any case, a short screen recording which shows this behavior in action would be greatly appreciated. That way we can get a clear understanding of what's happening on your end.

It's worth also logging in to another device (if possible) or on the Web Player to see if the songs are present there. You can try logging out and signing back in twice in a row as it triggers an internal refresh.

Let us know how it goes. Cheers!
