My Question or Issue

My local files are not syncing the album artwork consistently. I've synced local files both from "Music" (*rip iTunes*) and then also from a specific folder I created for Local files to see if I could fix it that way. On Music, all of the albums show their artwork. On Finder, all but one show their artwork as a part of the file preview (Faith in the Future). However, on Spotify local files, neither Faith in the Future nor Midnights (Late Night Edition) show the artwork. Honestly, I'm not quite sure what more to do. I care less about fixing Faith in the Future because I've got a feeling it has something to do with the .wav format, and I tbh I care a little less. However, I curate my TS playlists and so it really matters to me if the cover doesn't show. I haven't even gotten to syncing with iOS yet, so I'm sure that will be fun. But I do want to take care of this first. Thanks for any help!

Proof that they all have art on Music:

Sorted by song to show that it's a mess on Spotify local files:

P.S. Idk why it's showing me as a "newbie" because I've been on Spotify since 2012, and this is my first time having these problems. 🙂

UPDATE: I found a work-around. It's slightly frustrating.

First, I turned on iTunes match for my Mac and iPhone. (I apparently had it turned off.)

Second, I turned on Local files on Spotify on my iPhone.

Third, on my iPhone's Music app, I downloaded the songs I wanted (specifically the only 4 I was unable to get on Spotify).

And BOOM, they showed up in my iPhone's Local files folder.

I listen to Spotify on my phone vs my mac about 10:1, so this is effective enough for me. 🙂

Good luck! Based upon this being a recurring topic on Spotify, I hope that they find an easier way to do this eventually.
