Local files don't show up in playlist on PC.

Hi, since like 2/3 weeks I can no longer see my local files in my playlist I put them in. This only seems to be the case within the application, since the songs are visible (but gray) on the website (see attachment). On mobile the files are also visible, and I'm able to play whatever I want. For the last few weeks this has been my go to way to stream my local files. I click the song I want to listen and then change the device to my PC, this all works. I'd really just like to be able to play from my pc again, and not needing my phone to do this.

Also, when I add new local songs to the playlist, they also don't show up.

Hi @thijsxd!

Are the songs completely missing from your playlist when you view it from the desktop app (i.e. they aren't just greyed out)? If so, check if you have Smart Shuffle activated for that playlist, as the feature hides any local files as long as it's toggled on.

In case the files are greyed out on the desktop app, try uploading them to your PC again to see if that does the trick. You can also move them to a different folder and use it as a source instead.

My Question or Issue

I have a personal playlist called "Workout" that contains both local files and songs from Spotify. When I initially install the Spotify app, I can see the local files in the playlist. However, after restarting the app, the local files no longer appear, and the only solution I've found is to reinstall the app. This is frustrating because I can access the local files folder and play all of them within the app. On the web and on my Android phone, there are no issues with the "Workout" playlist, as I can see and play the local files there (excluding the web version, which doesn't support local files). How can I resolve this issue?
