Local files not showing up in liked songs

premium plan, poland, iphone 14 with newest ios

I purchased a mixtape that's not available on spotify. downloaded it, put it in my spotify folder in local files and it is showing in the app.

but when i add it to my liked songs playlist it doesnt show there, but the checkmark is there and i can listen to it.

reinstalled spotify, played around with moving and removing songs from the local files folder, nothing's working...

Based on the screenshots you've attached it looks like you have Smart Shuffle toggled on for your Liked Songs. The feature adds song recommendations to your queue, but as long as it's activated, your local files in that particular playlist will be hidden. You can toggle it off by following the steps in this article - your local files should show up then.

There's this idea about retaining your local files even with Smart Shuffle enabled, which you may find interesting, so feel free to check it out and show your support by giving it a thumbs up so it has a better chance of being considered.
