Lost songs in playlist after editing offline

hey, 

I’ve lost a lot of songs from my “liked songs”. I downloaded my liked songs and whilst offline, I created new playlists and organized some of the songs and removed them from my liked songs. 

After landing I realized the playlists didn’t get created but the songs have disappeared from my liked songs. I’ve been chatting with customer support for over 3 hours. They have not been able to recover the playlists and reverting back to before the trip didn’t help.

The songs are still missing. I search for songs I know should be on my account and they are not in any playlist. I’ve just my favorite songs from over Decade of collecting and I’m desperate, is there anything to be done?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

This type of issue happens when you make changes to your content while being in offline mode. Keep in mind that when your app is offline, it "blocks" any network connection to focus on the downloaded content. Taking this into account, if you create a new playlist while offline, as there's no connection between your device and your account, the changes done may not reflect on your account and it might get lost when the app reconnects to the Spotify servers.

Unfortunately, since we don't have access to users' accounts from the Community, we cannot recover any content from our end. To prevent this from happening again, we'd recommend making sure your app is online when making changes in the future.
