Make Spotify better than competitor sites by allowing users to Record a song

Watched a film with good soundtrack.

But can't find one of the songs anywhere (a tribal chant).

I can listen on Youtube (advantage to Google Music over Spotify).

SPOTIFY - Allow users to record a song and add to THEIR playlists.  This won't infringe copyrights because it won't be public, but it means you're in the car and you can play a song you like without needing to close Spotify and open YouTube.

Content on Spotify is uploaded by music/ podcast creators and their labels. As much as we wish to have all the music and shows in the world, it's not always possible.

If you have some songs which are not part of the Spotify catalogue you can always upload them to the app as local files, so that you can listen to them on your desktop and mobile device. More info on that can be found here.
