My playlists go automatically public. How to avoid that?

My playlists go automatically public. How to avoid that?

I wouldn't won't them to go public in the first place. Can I do something to stop it? How the check which playlists/ other content of mine is public?

Hey there, welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

It is very easy to do that, you can head over to your created playlists and open the menu on any device to see the option 'make it private'. Just enable that and your playlists will become private. If the playlists are also added to your profile then you can go to settings -> your profile to see those playlists.

Now coming to the default setting, you can easily turn it off so your new playlists actually stay private. Head over to settings and turn off this feature to publish my new playlists to my profile.
