Nest Speaker - Wont play liked songs

My Question or Issue

If I am playing my liked songs I can not transfer them to my Nest speakers. Spotify gets stuck connecting to the speaker. Only way I can get it out of the loop is to force close the app and re open. It still wont connect though. If I am playing a song from a different playlist or album while connected to the Nest and try to play a liked song Spotify just acts like I dont select the song. The liked song screen is unresponsive. I can still navigate away, but it wont play the song.

Tried to attach a screen recording but the 5mb file size limit kind of makes it hard to attach anything that isnt a screenshot...

Thank you for taking the time to post in the Community. This seems odd. Let's take a closer look into this.

To start with, can you relink your account to Google? You can find the steps here.

If that doesn't do the trick, can you perform a clean reinstall of the app as this will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.
