My Question or Issue

With the old UI, you could copy a song from anywhere on spotify, click on say, the 10th song in your playlist, and when you Ctrl-V'd the song would appear in the 11th spot. This is great for ordering playlists (for instance, I have all my music in one 3500 song playlist ordered by genre so that I can shuffle or not depending on what I want to listen to). However, with the new update, no matter how you Ctrl-V the song ends up at the very end of the playlist and you have to drag the song all the way from the bottom to where you want it.
To skip this Ctrl-V issue, it's possible to drag it from, say, the search results, onto the playlist through the sidebar, but now I have the issue of having to start from the very top.
I know my problem is very specific but this "inserting" feature I described in the first paragraph is VERY useful nonetheless. Please Spotify, bring it back.

Hey there @Chimi

Thanks for reaching out here in the Community, and welcome 🙂

I personally tested this from my end with the latest app version and I was able to add songs to the playlists as you described, they were not added to the bottom of the playlist.

In this case, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app. This is often an overlooked step, but it can be helpful to get rid of any corrupted files that might be causing issues.

Keep us posted on how it goes.
