New checkmark not synced with songs added to older playlists

My Question or Issue

So I've been creating spotify playlists since 2016. After the new plus button got added I've noticed  the green checkmark doesn't show up consistently for songs from my older playlists.

It works properly for a lot of tracks but I regularly(daily) find songs from downloaded older playlists that's missing the checkmark. It is slightly irritating me.

I'll give an example I noticed today with pictures below.

The checkmark is green when I'm in my own playlist but if I see the song in any other playlist there's no green checkmark. Not even on the official album. 

I might add that I'm having this bug on both of my devices.
