No local songs in mesh network

No local songs in mesh network

Hello together,

I have a Fritzbox Mesh with 2 Fritzboxes and several Repeaters.

My local songs are only available if I turn of everything but the main fritzbox. If I start the rest the offline songs are greyed out.

If I create a new playlist on my laptop with local files, the playlist appears within secons on my iphone, but the songs are grey.

Are there any known issues with the mesh?

Hey @snoock

Thanks for posting - we’re here to help!

Could you confirm if you still experience this after performing a clean reinstall of the Spotify app on your iPhone? This will get you the latest app version and remove corrupted files that might be causing the issue. Follow the steps here on how to run a clean reinstall on your device.

If you see no difference after the clean reinstall, try restarting all devices connected to this network. It's also a good idea to make sure that all kind of software and firmware of the devices are up-to-date.

Keep us posted! We'll be happy to lend a hand if you need more help.

Hey Ivan,
after a long time I just checked all points. I did a clean reinstallation on my iPhone and on my laptop, checked all firmwares and versions. Unfortunately I have still the same problem. On my Laptop I can use my offline data and hear the songs. The playlists appear on my iPhone but they are empty...Do you have further tipps to solve this problem?
Best regards!

Hey there @snoock,

Thanks for the reply.

Some routers don't support all networking protocols needed for the successful upload of local files, and some have firewalls and restrictions in place which have the same effect.

Try disconnecting your PC and phone from the WiFi and connect them to a mobile hotspot from your phone and try to re-upload the local files. Let us know if they become playable on your phone like this.

Cheers.
