My Question or Issue

When I try to add a song that is already on one playlist to another playlist, it removes the song from the original playlist, only allowing for a song to exist on one. For me, I have a playlist with my newest albums I'd like to listen to and once I've found a song I like, I add it to my 'singles' playlist, having the song exist in both playlists. Currently, when I add one of the songs I like to another playlist, it removes it from the original playlist. I used to be able to have songs exist on multiple playlists depending on where I would like them. Love the service and have been using since before premium even came out and haven't had this issue.

Hey @thomasmcanulty,

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community.

Can you let us know if you've already tried to log out > restart your device > log back in?

It's also a good idea to try clear any old files that might be causing issues. Steps can be found here

If you're still experiencing this, we'll need to know if the same behavior occurs while using the app with a different account. If a friend or a family member has a Spotify account, would you please ask them to log in on your device and test?

On another note, can you post some screenshots ( or a quick video) of your experience with saving a song to a different playlist? This would be very helpful and we can better understand what exactly is going on.

We'll be on the lookout for your update.

I was playing around with the app and it seems you have to keep the
original playlist checked to keep it in that playlist as well as
checking/adding it to the other playlist. I was confused by the check
existing on the current playlist since I'm not adding it to that playlist
but it works!

All good now, thank you for your response!
