I can't play a song in "Find in playlist"

Hi i have a problem. I can't play a song when I search in my playlist in "find in playlist".I have to search for a song that I want to listen through my entire playlist. "Find in playlist" doesn't work.  I've never had sucha a problem. I don't know what's going on and I'm panicking. I reset my phone and even uninstalled Spotify. Please help me.

Hey @Tina0506,

Thanks for reaching out. Kudos for the initial troubleshooting you've tried.

 

As a next step, can you please let us know if this happens only when you're offline (the screenshot shows you've downloaded this playlist)? Are you able to click on the 3-dot menu of the track? Please check if the same thing happens for non-downloaded playlists.

Hi, thanks for reply. It happens when i'm online and offline and with downloaded playlists and non-downloaded. I can't even click the three dots. Nothing works.

Thanks for the reply and the troubleshooting done so far.

 

You mentioned you've reinstalled the app, but could go over that once again, this time with the steps from this article? Did this bring any change?

 

Could you check with a different account on the same device if the same issue occurs?

Hi,
So i made a new account and it worked on the other account. When I got back to my main account it suddenly fixed itself. I don't know how but I think maybe I just had to log out and log back in. Thank you for your help, I'm very grateful.

Glad to hear things fixed themselves. Sometimes logging out and back in can refresh the connection between your account and the servers and resolve such issues.
