No option to just like the song, instead it gets added to my library

Switched from android to iPhone and I noticed the green heart like button got changed to plus button which adds song to library.

This is incredibly annoying since I download albums for gym and then like the songs to mark certain ones so I could add them to my playlist but now I can’t do that anymore.

I’ve tried reinstalling the app, restarting phone, clearing cache, logging out. Nothing changed. Weirdest thing is that my friends who have iPhones showed me that they still have the like button.

Update: After looking for it for hours what's wrong the issue is only with my account, I logged through friend's Spotify and everything works for him perfectly. What can be done?

Update 2: I talked to support and it seems like it's the new "account-based" update that only applies to certain accounts with more recent devices (because I still have the like button on my old android phone). And nothing can be done and it's up to the devs to make any changes...
