Offline mode

Hello! I have such a problem that I have downloaded the music, but if I put it in offline mode, it shows as if the music is not downloaded! (We are in a family package!)

Hey @gergo9805,

 

Welcome to the community! There are a few possible reasons why your downloads might be removed or arent working:

  • You've downloaded music to more than 3 devices.
  • You haven't been online with Spotify at least once in the last 30 days. 
  • If you've recently reinstalled the app.
  • Your Spotify app needs updating
  • Your SD card (if your device has one) has become compromised (dislodged, corrupted, etc.) 
  • The content's no longer available on Spotify.
  • Tracks in some playlists are updated regularly, meaning tracks might be removed. 

We recommend removing all your active offline devices, then reinstall the app before downloading the tracks again.

Yes, I redownloaded the app and the music as well, but the offline mode still doesn't work.

Thanks for your reply and for the info shared. 

 

In this case, we'd like to gather some additional info. Just to confirm, has the app always been behaving like this, or does it start to happen after a specific event, such as an OS update? Please send us the details about it.


On another note, would you mind sending us the make/model and OS of the affected device, along with the Spotify version you're running there?


Lastly, would you mind sending us a video recording of the described behavior? You can attach the video in your next reply in mp4 format, or you can also upload it to YouTube or Google Drive and make it public so we can watch it.
