Playlist not showing up in library

Playlist not showing up in library

Whenever I try to create a playlist, it tells me "something went wrong" and doesn't show in the library. I can like and follow songs from music creators but it is only whenever I try to create a playlist it doesn't show. I feel like my Spotify has been weird ever since i got my account back because of an issue. I would appreciate some help thank you 🙂

Hi there @user-removed,

Thanks for reaching out and welcome to the Community!

Just to check, do you notice any difference if you try clearing cache from the app? Try logging out from the app and back in again once it's done, as completing these steps should resync your account info.

Also, does this happen with all devices that you use Spotify on, or just with a specific one? Does it occur in the Web Player as well?

Keep us posted on how it goes!

I have a problem.. When I click my liked songs, artist profiles, playlists, etc, it shows "This playlist cannot be found." It's only on my Chromebook, and I'm SO confused. I've logged out, cleared cache, and everything I've been told to do.

Hi @CoquetteKisses,

Thanks for the reply.

When you say it's only on the Chromebook, do you mean that you've tested this on other devices too and it works there? If that's the case, consider trying the following things on the Chromebook:

  • Try opening the web player in incognito
  • If you use a VPN or proxy network, disable it.
  • Related to the previous point, if this Chromebook is from your school or employer, it likely has various security restrictions and those may be interfering with Spotify's communication. If this applies to you, consider reaching out to the respective IT department so they can double check these settings and see if Spotify is allowed.

Let us know how it goes.
