Podcast not downloading correctly

My Question or Issue

I'm having an issue with a specific podcast episode - Joe Rogan Experience #1109 with Matthew Walker. When I tap the download icon, the icon spins for a few seconds and then returns to the original gray arrow. When I tap the icon again, it asks if I want to remove the download. However, I'm not able to play the podcast offline. It appears to get marked a downloaded with a download actually occurring. When I add the podcast to a downloaded playlist, the download icon for the playlist begins to spin but never shows anything being downloaded. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you trying to download via Wifi? Could you check if switching to a different network does the trick? It's also worth trying to download the episode with cellular data - just make sure the option is enabled in the app's settings.

Something else that's worth checking is if you are able to download the episode with audio only. You can toggle this on in Settings > Data Saver. If the issue persists, I'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app.
