Podcasts showing when the Music filter is selected

 When selecting the Music filter at the top of the Home Screen in the app, I get a Top Podcasts section which isn’t music. If I wanted to see podcasts I would select All or Podcasts.

Can you try on a different iOS device to see if you can replicate the same issue? This may be a device either from a friend, or relative.

Also, if you haven't already, you can try a clean reinstall by following these steps to see if it makes any difference. 

If nothing helps, can you please provide the information below:

- Device make and model;

- OS version;

- Spotify version

Yeah, the same problem exists on my iPad Air 2 running iOS 15.8.2.

My phone is on iOS 17.5.1

Both are running Spotify 8.9.42.597

iOS 17.5.1

iPhone 15 Pro Max 

Spotify version 8.9.46

This issue exists in my iPhone 15 too.

Spotify app version 8.9.42.597

The podcast invasion has become too much at this point.

Fix this, I don't want garbage podcasts in my music feed.

Thanks for all your replies and for the info shared.

We really appreciate the time you took to let us know about this behavior. In this case, we'd suggest you try the following:

• Make sure you're running the latest Spotify version available for you in the App Store. 
• Log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This could sound a little bit odd, but this way the system will force a resync of your account in general.

If this behavior persists afterwards, it'd be awesome if you could send us:

• The details mentioned by @MateusM Mateus here: make/model and OS of the affected device.
• The exact Spotify version you're running there (remember to double-check if you have any updates pending in the App Store).
• All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
• Some screenshots of this issue.

I tried the multiple login thing and no luck.

I'm using 8.9.44.362.

Just checked now and the podcasts have gone from the music filter. I didn’t do anything so it must have been a server-side change.

That's great news, happy to hear that thing are back on track again!

@Serialkvetcher & @no_podcasts_no_no_no - just to confirm, are you still experiencing issues with this? If so, could you try checking for any app updates?

Should this persist, however, it would be great if you could confirm the details mention by @AlejaR earlier in the thread.
