Question on wether or not download quality automatically lowers

I have music downloaded on max quality in spotify, and since I listen to podcasts as well but dont have a lot of space on my phones drive, i would like to download the podcasts in low quality. If I change the download quality to low in settings and then download the podcasts, will only the podcasts be in low quality or will the quality of the songs already downloaded automatically reduce as well?

Hi @Neurogenesis!

Your downloaded content will change quality only if you set it to a higher one- you'll be prompted to re-download the content in this higher quality. However, that doesn't apply when changing from a higher to a lower quality - only the new songs / podcasts you download will be affected, the ones you've already downloaded will remain in high quality.
