Recent UI update: Can't see specific artist liked song

My Question or Issue

Since the last update, i can't see all liked song for a specific artist. In previous version we can go on Library -> Artist, select an artist and we see all liked song for this artist and the option to go on the artist page.

Now when we select an artist we directly go on the artist page.

How can we see all liked song for the artist?

We've reported this, in the meantime you can leave a +VOTE for the idea here and Subscribe to the thread for any updates. Keep in mind that ideas with the status Closed - Not Enough Votes are still monitored by Spotify.

Same issue for me. This is absolutely critical functionality for the way I use Spotify. If this is not fixed soon or at least I see an intention to fix, I will be moving to another platform that offers this functionality.

This is NOT an idea this was the behavior until the latest update (as usually every update of Spotify makes me thinking about changing to Deezer or apple music). And it is how the android app works (or maybe you destroyed it also in the android app in the latest update)

Jeremy, thanks for the info on the voting and I have voted.

Can I just ask, why did Spotify find the need to remove the link to my liked songs in the Artist page when I go through Library > Artists > [specific artist page]? Like how was that affecting the experience of other users who undoubtedly don't think like me or use the platform like me which I guess this update is catering to?

At one point there was an update that changed the artists in your library so that instead of showing your liked songs from them, it would go to the artist page but there was still a link to go to a grouping of the liked songs by that Artist and I just don't see why there was a need to remove that? Is there a possibility to add that as a button in some context menu so that perhaps it isn't display too prominently but at least I can get there with a few extra clicks?

Thanks for actual response and not some generic shut up it's not our problem response, as usual.

I see that there is a plan to return this basic ability back. Is there any ETA on it?

Why does it have to come this again? it is not the first time that you try to eliminate the liked list view and again you return it because of people pressure? And really this feature is working in the Android version so you know how to implement it, so why? Why can't you learn from past mistakes? How do you make decision in Spotify? because it is not the only time it happened?

I just noticed today my liked songs are back on my artist pages! I'm happy now 🙂

There's currently an idea - [Desktop] Put the Liked Songs back under each band's/artist's page for the desktop app. We suggest that you leave a +VOTE and Subscribe to the idea for any updates.
