Removing song from played list

My Question or Issue:

My question is quite similar to this post: https://community.spotify.com/t5/Closed-Ideas/History-Remove-played-songs-in-History/idi-p/999232

I have a white noise song in my history that somehow ended up becoming my most played song of all time, likely because I left it playing for a new nights in a row. 

I do not want this polluting my stats, and was hoping to remove this from my history. The linked post said this is less relevant now, but didn't mention how one would go about achieving this.

Unfortunately, there still isn't a way to remove a song from your listening history on Spotify. However, there is currently a Live Idea for this potential feature (similar to the Closed Idea that you've shared).

If this is something you're interested in, I would recommend adding your +VOTE to the Live Idea. The more votes an idea gets, the likelier it is that Spotify will implement it; and you can read more about how feedback on ideas reaches Spotify here.
