SONGS DON’T PLAY ALL THE WAY THROUGH

Device: iPhone 7

 

I have been having a great deal of problems  for the past two weeks with the songs that I  either play, shuffle, or queue up not playing all the way through. It’s not every song that does this but every other song. The song will start playing but once it gets about two minutes in the song it will just skip to the next one.

My other issue is when songs have started playing, about five seconds in they will pause and not be able to be resumed unless I just skip the song all together.

I have tried logging out of my account and deleting the app then redownloading it and logging back in. The problem just resumes.

Any advice???

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out here.

 

Most common issues can indeed be fixed with a quick reinstall of the app. In some situations however, a clean (more thorough) reinstall of the app might be needed. This way you can start afresh with Spotify on your iPhone. 

 

Check out this help page in order to find the steps for clean reinstall on the affected device.
