Saved Files - MacOS vs. iOS

Solved!

Saved Files - MacOS vs. iOS

When you select the option to save music and podcast files locally, is that preference device-specific or is it a general account setting?

For example: if I choose a particular song and download it to my phone, will it automatically download to my computer as well, and vice-versa? Something is using up all my internal hard drive space, and it looks to be Pandora music. I don't need to download files to my desktop or laptop... only to my phone.

Also... where is the data save location in MacOS, and can it be changed?

Hey @NorthIdahoGuy,

Thanks for reaching out!

The offline settings are device-specific and downloading anything on your mobile device will only save it there.
If you wish to check out where the offline location on desktop is, click on your profile picture, go to Settings and scroll down to the bottom to find these options:

Hope this helps! We're here for you in case any further questions arise 🙂
