Search Engine

Search Engine

I tend to update my playlists all of the time. I often have trouble remembering whether or not I’ve already added a song onto my

playlist, and it’s a hassle to browse through the entire thing every time. It would be great if we could add a search engine onto any of our playlists and see if we’ve already added a song in order to avoid any duplicates.

Hey there @berreniceosorio

Thanks for reaching out about this here in the Community. We moved your post from the Ideas board to the relevant Help board, where it fits better.

When adding a song to a playlist but the song is already there, there should be a pop up message confirming if you still want to add it. If you're not getting this message, could you let us know what devices you're using the app on? Also, does it happen on all of them?

On another note, you can search for a song in a playlist both on the mobile and the desktop apps. On the mobile app, you just need to open the playlist and swipe down. On the top of the screen there'll be a magnifying glass where you can type the song's title. In the desktop app and web player, inside a playlist, you can hold Ctrl+F and type the song's title.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
