Search song which is playing in list(albums)

For example I'm listening to the song A in the 'Liked songs' (screenshot 1). I want to be able to find exact position of this song A in 'Liked songs' list (screenshot 2). Because I want to play song B, which I know is close to song A (screenshot 3).

The idea of this is, that I often like a couple of songs together, and when I accidentally get song A in shuffle, I might want to listen to song B as well. But often I don't recall song B title, I only know, that it was added roughly at the same time as song A. And so it will be easier to find song B if I could jump to song A (instead of scrolling for 5 minutes, possibly missing the song anyway)

Thanks for reaching out on the Community! Hope you don't mind us moving your post, as it fits better here.

You should be able to go directly to the song, where it's placed in the playlist, using the desktop app. Just press the album cover in the lower left corner and you should be directed right away.

Another option is to open the playlist > search for the song > click on the song title (without playing it) > exit the search function. This way, you should also be directed to the song's place in the playlist.

Okay, thank you, this works on PC 🙂 do you plan to implement similar behavior on mobile platforms? (TBH I never use PC spotify)

Hey @Lisica,

On mobile the behavior now is that you can navigate to the playlist itself when you open the now playing view and tap on the top. From there you can drag down and use the search function as @Maria described.

We have an idea about the implementation of a better to get to the song in the list here. You can leave your Vote to support it.
