My Question or Issue
Hi all. I have already reported this issue about fifteen days ago. It's since the beginning of september that the shuffler is not working properly. In fact, it usually replays songs i just listened the day before (expecially happens with playlist with more than an hundred songs); a thing that never happened before, even with very big playlists. It seems that the shuffler plays the same 50-100 songs, sometimes it takes some "extra songs", but nothing else. It's extremely frustrating because the shuffler always worked great for me and it's not good to pay 9.99 € per month and having this feature not working. I have to use third part apps that randomize really my playlists, so i listen to them without using the shuffler at all. Really hope you will fix this, i'm not so sure i will remain with Spotify, even the Discover Weekly, which is your best feature, could be not so important to remain.

Greetings.
Hey there @nighthawk989,
Thank you for your post in the Community.
In this case we suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app to make sure there's no old cache files causing this. This usually do the trick.
If you have any questions we're always one reply away 🙂
Cheers!
Hi there @nighthawk989,
Thanks for your reply.
It's recommended that you run the clean reinstallation process on all the devices you're using to make sure that your account will be properly synced up with the servers.
You can also check out this Spotify Answer for more info on why the Shuffle function may have stopped working properly.
Hope you find this info useful.
Hey again @nighthawk989,
Thank you for your post and confirmation.
Could you let us know which version of the app you have?
Can you also try with another internet connection to see if the issue persist?
We'll keep an eye out for your reply.
Cheers!
Hi there @nighthawk989,
Thanks for the info.
Could you try creating a new test account and following one of your old playlists? Then try playing it in shuffle mode and check whether the shuffler behaves differently on the new account.
Keep us posted.
