My Question or Issue

Hello all,

Yesterday I went through some old memory cards and found some downloaded songs that unfortunately aren't on Spotify, so obviously, they'd have to be local files. Usually, I have no issue with this, but now I'm running into a wall.

I transferred all 32 of these new songs to my local files folder, yet the Spotify count still remains at 244 when it should be 276.

I have tried everything. I've changed/deleted/renamed the folder, gone to AppData and deleted the local-files.bnk file. The songs are not corrupt (I played them all) and are in MP3 format, so it's not like they are incompatible.

It just seems like Spotify really hates these songs from the cards for some reason, even though they're just like any other local files...

Any ideas as to how to fix this would be much appreciated.

Well, I fixed it by changing the bitrate for each song to 320. Thought I'd update for anybody else having the same issue.
