My Question or Issue

Hi, I've noticed that a lot of songs have disappeared from my own playlists that I created myself. I googled the problem and saw that if you go to Settings > Display Options > enable Show Unavailable Songs in Playlist it should fix the problem. I did this and it did help to make some songs re-appear in my playlists, but not all of them. For example, after enabling that feature, I went to check a playlist that I know is missing a bunch of songs. Some songs were recovered by doing this but several songs are still missing. One song which still is not appearing in the playlist itself is instead now appearing below the playlist in the 'Recommended' section. The other songs that are missing are also all still available on Spotify so clearly there wasn't a licensing issue as the songs have not been removed from the platform entirely.

I have been paying for a premium subscription for years. Can a moderator please help me troubleshoot to recover these missing songs?

Thank you!

Hey there @mem2267,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community and welcome!

That's odd, as songs shouldn't be removed from your playlists when they're still available in Spotify. In this case, we suggest following the steps in this article to secure your account.

We also recommend reaching out to our Support team through any of these channels as they might be able to help you recover the missing songs.

Hope it gets sorted out soon. If you need anything else, the Community is here for you.

Cheers 🙂
