My Question or Issue
Since I moved to my new phone, all my songs keep redownloading daily, using up my data. I also have a playlist with local files, which becomes unavailable everytime this happens.
I have tried a clean install, moving my download location to my SD card, turned off Battery Saver, none of these things worked for me. I really hope there's a fix for this, since I never had this problem with my previous phone.
Anyone who can help me?
Thanks a lot!
Hey @1ungnb_ub-uuq,
Thanks for reaching out to the Community.
It's possible that the SD card is malfunctioning and causing issues like the once you're describing. Could you let us know if this behavior continues after you remove the SD card and run a clean reinstall without it?
Keep in mind that you can also disable the option to download songs using mobile data from the Settings menu of the app.
Hope you find this useful. Let us know how you get on.
It's not just happening when I store my songs on my SD card, the problem stays the same when I do store them on my internal storage.
Hi again @1ungnb_ub-uuq,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Just to confirm, is this still happening when you're connected to a WiFi network?
If possible, could you ask a friend or a family member to log into their personal account using your device to see if they can replicate this?
Keep us posted.
Hi @1ungnb_ub-uuq,
Thanks for your reply.
Have you made sure to keep the Download using cellular toggle off in the app’s settings?
Also, were you able to ask someone else to log into their account using your device? Did you notice anything new?
Let us know how it goes.
