Songs liked from mobile app do not show in desktop app until restart

My Question or Issue

After liking a song via the mobile app, the song will not appear in the list of liked songs on the desktop app until it is quit and relaunched. Seems like syncing only happens once for the lifetime of the session, which is annoying.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Launch desktop app
2. Open iOS app
3. Like a song from iOS app
4. Navigate to 'Liked Songs' from desktop app
- Liked song does not appear -
5. Quit desktop app. Launch desktop app.
6. Navigate to 'Liked Songs' from desktop app
- Liked song now appears -

Sounds like things are not running too smoothly with the app on your Mac, so wondering if updating it as well as the device's operating system could do the trick here. Mind giving that a go?
