Spotify can't play music on headphones but can play on speakers (PC)

When I try to play music on my headphones (USB)on computer app spotify shows "spotify can't play this now. If you have a file on your computer you can import it". When I use speakers (mini jack) it works.
Any ideas how to repair it?

Thanks for posting in the Community!

We could test the following here:

1. Plug your headphones in
2. On the Windows taskbar, right click on the speaker icon
3. Select Sounds and navigate to the Playback tab
4. Find your headphones, right click on them and select Properties
5. Navigate to the Advanced tab and let us know what the selected sound format is.

We'll be on the lookout 🙂
