Spotify started adding songs to the top of playlists?

My Question or Issue

So, just today all my custom playlists seem to have a new random song added as the first song. If you remove it from the list it automatically adds another one seemingly at random. There doesn't seem to be a way to stop this from happening. I very carefully arrange the songs in my personal playlists, and due to my Tourettes and a few other factors I have a lot of trouble with obsessing over details when things aren't working like they should. This really makes me wish I weren't alive. Is there a way to fix this?

Hey @StormyStories

Please make sure you don't have Smart Shuffle enabled. This causes Spotify to add suggested songs to playlists.

It does this video it just adds random **** autoplays off the smart shuffles off clear up my cache reloaded it everything and it will not go away it just adds random playlists and songs and I can't listen to my own playlist it's so stupid

Does this happen while listening on an external speaker? If yes, then I recommend unlinking and relinking your Spotify account to the speaker. You can check out these articles for further info depending on the speaker you have:

1. Alexa devices
2. Google devices
3. Sonos
