Stop Spotify From Playing A Whole Album, Or It's Songs Individually

Stop Spotify From Playing A Whole Album, Or It's Songs Individually

I am new to Spotify Premium & right away: not happy!

I like an artist, but some of their newer albums are terrible & I don't want them played on the artist's "radio".

How do I stop Spotify from playing those albums?  If not possible, then how do I stop Spotify from playing songs individually?

Amazon Unlt'd Music had a simple "Dislike" option for individual songs.  I can't find anything similar on Spotify.

Blocking the artist isn't an option for me & I tried "Hiding" a song, but it still played!

Hey there @senorwillburrZpotify

Thanks for getting in touch about this here in the Community.

Currently, it's not possible to exclude certain albums from the artist radio playlist or block songs you don't like. In this case, what you can do is to add the albums you like to a playlist so you can avoid listening to the ones you dislike. Keep in mind that the Hide this song feature blocks a certain track from the specific playlist on the current device. So when the playlist get renewed, the songs that you had hidden in the previous one might still appear in the new one.
